The most important product updates for March 2025.
1. Google Chrome extension update
For years, our Free SEO Chrome extension has helped hundreds of thousands of users with quick on-page SEO audits. But now, we’re taking it to a whole new level.
Now, in this extension, with a single click, you can track, audit, and optimize on-page SEO like never before.
GSC Insights
Now, you don’t need to open Search Console or even the Sitechecker app to get real performance data for any page.
Just visit a website, click on the extension, and instantly see the main metrics without even switching your URL tab.
Performance metrics
Find out the absolute search performance metrics of the page and analyze how they have changed compared to the last 7, 30, 60, or 90 days.

Search queries
Find out for which keywords the page is ranked, performance metrics by these keywords, and changes in the average position of the page compared to the last 7, 30, 60, or 90 days.

URL inspection
Based on URL Inspection API, check the page’s indexing status, date of the last crawl, and Google-selected canonical.

New features
Check on-page technical issues and monitoring
We’ve also added a new Issues tab, pulling insights straight from Page Details to help you quickly spot problems.
If you want to see how your page has changed over time, just go to Page Monitoring. It will show you all updates, so you never miss an important change.

Content tab
We have merged Headings & Content Relevance into one Content category, making it easier to check structure and analyze on-page elements.
Headings highlighting is back, and now you can copy an entire heading structure in one click.

Content analysis got an improvement too. We’ve added text length & text-to-code ratio, so you can easily check if your content is well-optimized.

Linking of the page
Link analysis is now also smarter. Now you can see the Dofollow/Nofollow status of the page within seconds. Search for specific links, and even highlight them on the page to instantly spot key elements.

Now you can separately allow highlights for headings, links, and images, so you don’t have to scan through everything at once.
The extension is still free, but if you want to see advanced features with GSC data, that require a Sitechecker account (starting from $59/month).
2. Rank Tracker updates
Adding and managing keywords
From now on, the Rank Tracker setup process will be much faster and more user-friendly.
The search engine selection has been simplified with checkboxes, making it easier to track keywords across multiple countries and search engines at once.
We have also made UI updates to improve how users move and delete keywords within groups and URLs.

Additionally, managing keywords directly in the Rank Tracker table has been improved with a cleaner layout.
Users can now move, delete, or copy keywords faster. Also, the export function has been adjusted to provide more flexibility.

GSC and competition keyword data
We’ve added real GSC data to Rank Tracker, giving you deeper insights into keyword performance and actual traffic impact.
Now, you can analyze Impressions, Clicks, Position, and CTR, to see how your tracked keywords perform in Google Search.
Additionally, we’ve added the Allintitle and Keyword Golden Ratio (KGR) to help you identify low-competition keywords that are easier to rank for.
Also, the Search Volume Trend and Ad Competition metrics are now available. They will help you to track keyword demand over time and evaluate PPC competition.

These new columns can be managed in Manage Columns. Simply pin the data that you need or reorder them if needed.
SERP data export
We’ve added an export feature to the SERP view in Rank Tracker, so you can analyze the positions of the websites that are ranking for the same keywords as you. Now, you can export all discovered URLs along with their positions for the latest available date.

The export is available in CSV and Google Sheets formats and includes two columns: URL and Position.
This will help you to quickly collect and analyze SERP data without manually copying results.
3. Updated Dashboard widgets
We’ve made a major update to your Sitechecker dashboard!
This update is designed to help you to make data analysis faster, clearer, and more efficient. Now you can see only the most essential widgets with the key SEO metrics without distractions.
Google Search Console widget tabs became separate widgets
Previously, it was hard to manage the tabs inside the widget. Thus, we have decided to make each of them a separate widget.
Now you have an ability to manage all of them at the top of the dashboard. Show, hide, or re-organize them any way you want.

New tabs
Top Pages & Top Keywords widgets now include three new tabs:
Top Performers – Your best pages based on clicks;
Winners – Pages with the biggest growth;
Losers – Pages with the biggest drop.

On-page SEO insights
As it is now possible to easily distinguish winners and losers, you can easily prioritize your main pages. After this, simply click on the page and get the most important and detailed insights about it.

Better Site Audit experience
All critical SEO issues are now listed in one place, so there are no more confusing categories. In the new dashboard, you can see the improved sorting based on issue severity for faster fixes.

4. New crawling locations
Sometimes, the website server may have country-based restrictions. Some websites block access from different regions and we have fixed this problem!
We’ve added a new crawling location option to improve website analysis. Now, you can choose the country from which Sitechecker’s crawler operates. You can select from USA, UK, or Germany, ensuring that your website gets properly crawled even if one region is restricted.

If no country is selected, the system will continue using its default setup without a fixed location.
5. Pay as you go pricing
We’ve updated the pricing page to make it easier for users to buy extra tool credits without unnecessary steps.

This change is made for users who only need extra credits and don’t want to upgrade their subscription immediately.
